Rectangular with hinged domed cover applied with foliate scroll hinges and hasp, with dentilated borders, the front applied with a pierced foliate scroll and rocaille escutcheon plate, each end with a scroll handle backed by a basket of flowers, the base engraved with an inscription,apparently unmarked--4¾in.(12cm.) long
