One a gardener in black hat, puce coat and yellow breeches, holding a flowerpot, standing before a tree-trunk a melon at his feet (lacking spade and flower, paint flaking on base, hat and melon); his companion as a fish monger, in white bonnet, yellow smock and flowered underskirt, holding fish in her skirt, standing beside a trap, on a mound base with shells and square plinth (minor small chips)--6 5/8in.
