CIRCA 1770, MOST WITH GILT D AND ANCHOR MARKS

Painted in green enriched with black with scattered flowers or flower swags, within gilt dentil rims (some scratching to the surfaces), comprising:

Three plates with scalloped rims--9in. (22.8cm.) diam.
A plate with fluted rim (stained, stacking wear)--8½in. (21.6cm.) diam.
A lozenge-shaped dish--9 7/8in. (20cm.) wide
Two shallow bowls--8in. (20.3cm.) diam.
Two custard cups and covers (one rim chipped and cover stained)--3¼in. (8.3cm.) high
An open sugar-bowl (nicks to rim)--3¾in. (9.5cm.) diam.
Three teabowls (chips to rim and staining to two)
Four teabowl saucers (one slightly stained);
together with a similar Chelsea plate, red anchor mark, painted with garlands of green flowers suspended from the shaped green and iron-red lined rim (surface scratched, rim chip restored)--9 3/8in. (23.8cm.) diam.; two Chelsea-Derby coffee-cups and saucers, gilt D and anchor marks, painted with black husk garlands suspended from a gilt line rim and enclosing scattered flower sprigs painted in colours; and a teabowl and saucer en suite (rim chips, wear to gilding) (21)
