Neatly cast as addorsed birds standing on claw feet and surmounted by the slightly waisted neck of the vessel, their small heads with short beaks, beady eyes and ears, with overlapping feathers decorating their backs and scrolls decorating the backswept wings, all in silver and gold inlay, some inlay missing--2½in.(6.3cm.) high
