The deep, rounded sides carved in shallow relief with a band of paired dragons reserved against a cross-hatched ground within raised borders, below a narrow key-fret band, with a pair of faceted loop handles surmounted by taotie masks, the semi-translucent stone of yellowish-white color with extensive pale russet mottling, small chip--5 1/8in. (13cm.) long
