Of flattened baluster form, carved on the sides with blossoming chrysanthemum branches issuing from a rockwork base surrounding the spreading foot, set at the short waisted neck with a pair of dragon-head handles suspending loose rings, the domed cover with finial carved in the round as a Buddhistic lion and cub encircling a ball, the semi-translucent, pale grayish-white stone suffused with extensive areas of lavender and bright green streaks--7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) high
