Charles T. Grosjean designed this pattern based on George Catlin's drawings of ritualistic dances of Indian's. William Randolph Hearst ordered a 297-piece table service in this pattern in the 1890s (Charles H. Carpenter, Jr., Tiffany Silver, 1978, pp. 207-208).
