A SIX-PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE AND THREE MATCHING PIECES MAKER'S MARK OF WILLIAM GALE FOR TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, 1860-1865; THE CREAM JUG, KETTLE AND HOT-WATER URN WITH VARIOUS MAKER'S MARKS, 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Comprising coffee pot, teapot, hot-water kettle on stand, tea kettle on stand, covered hot-milk jug, cream jug, sugar bowl, waste bowl and tea caddy; each of baluster form, on scalloped spreading circular foot chased with matted foliate scrolls, chased at the neck with similar foliage, the coffee pot and tea pot with foliate scroll spouts applied with openwork foliate berry vines, the scoll handles formed of similar vines, the hinged domed covers with similar scalloped rims and chased with similar foliage, surmounted by a fluted finial, first six engraved with monogram EJJ, each marked--height of coffee pot 11 3/4in.; height of urn on stand 13 1/2in.
