Terence Mullaly kindly advances an attribution to Giovanni Battista Zelotti. Professor Richard Cocke suggests that this drawing is related in handling to a copy by a workshop hand after the figure of Judas in the Feast in the House of Simon, R. Cocke, Veronese's Drawings, London, 1984, fig. 185v. As Cocke points out the present sheet is presumably a preparatory drawing by a member of workshop, rather than a copy after Veronese
