Comprising coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug; each vase-shaped, on spreading circular foot with a band of palmettes between beaded bands, applied at the shoulder with a band of similar decoration, the coffee pot and teapot with foliate scroll handle and spout terminating in a bird's-head, the sugar bowl with foliate scroll loop handles issuing from a ram's head, the cream jug with bifurcated flying scroll handle terminating in a bird's-head, the domed covers rising to a circular pedestal supporting a bud finial issuing from a foliate calyx, the sides engraved with script initials DL, the teapot and cream jug later engraved on foot 1819, each marked--height of coffee pot 10 3/4in.
