Second issue. The first issue printed in June contained a libellous reference to William Wentworth and was withdrawn. See Wantrup pp.114-115 'Bigge's reports had a profound influence on the future constitutional and political development of Australia and have a place in any Australian collection. A Macquarie collection cannot be without them. The reports, in one form or another, are very scarce...' Ferguson 854 'Contains a very full description of the convict system in all its aspects...His three reports contain most valuable evidence concerning life and condition'
