Of rectangular form, the top inset with incised brass eagle and crown vallary above the legend AP.ITHEL, the front with twist to open Brammah lock, the blue velvet lined interior with three hallmarked silver mounted decanters and five etched glasses with conforming arms (one lacking), with two incised brass plates, one with THORNHILL & CO, 144 NEW BOND ST, LONDON, the other with FROM YOUR TWIN, 12TH FEBY 1890 -- 14in. (35.5cm.) wide
