the planked top, with later repair, carved TR 1741, revealing a plain interior with inner lidded compartment, the front divided into three incised panels, the centre most decorated with a pair of eagle heads above a shield amidst foliate scrolls, flanked at either side by a lion head within a similar foliate scrolled background, on later shaped bracket feet -- 46½in. (118cm.) wide, 25¾in. (65.5cm.) high, 21¼in. (54cm.) deep
