A PAIR OF GEORGE III SIMULATED SATINWOOD AND GREEN DECORATED OPEN ARMCHAIRS
decorated overall with boxwood and ebonised lines, each with shield shaped back and seat covered in light green floral silk damask, the outcurved arms on downswept supports decorated with foliage, the bowfronted seatrail centred by overall foliage paterae issuing foliage on square tapered legs decorated with conforming foliage, one inscribed in pencil to the underside (Kitley) and stamped V1, originally caned, one seatrail replaced and one partially replaced, restorations and refreshments to the decoration, two front legs replaced and two spliced
