the moulded top above a tambour shutter (damaged) enclosing a combination of pigeon holes, slides and drawers above a gilt tooled red leather writing surface above one long and two short frieze drawers with channelled corbel divides, each pedestal containing a bank of three drawers, the lower two of each combined to make one deep drawer, flanked at either side by fluted stiles on a moulded plinth base, the back and sides with moulded panelling, stamped to the escutcheon THE SHANNON CO.
