Thompson PO1CL HMS BOADICEA'; three mounted artillery shells on a wooden plinth; two photographs of Thompson in uniform; and a facsimile of his notebook

Petty Officer 1st Class John Henry Thompson served with the Royal Navy as part of the Australian Station. His family lived in Adelaide, South Australia, but Thompson died in Portsmouth as a result of an injury received on board ship off the coast of Queensland.
