(20.3 cm.) sighted barrel with engraved script and '263' rounded lock marked crowned, broad arrow, 'EIG' with 'Birmingham 1871', walnut full stock, stamped with maker's name (rubbed), regulation brass mounts and lanyard loop marked '263' and butt stamped 'FA3 1885', stirrup ram rod, most case-hardened colours on lock, tower proof marks
