Like the U.S. 60x40 inch posters, U.S. 40x30 inch posters were produced on heavy stock paper to be displayed outside at drive-in cinemas. They were produced in much fewer numbers than U.S. one-sheets and, as they were displayed outside and exposed to the elements, few survive.
