A MAHOGANY AND GRAINED WINDSOR ARMCHAIR, the semi-circular toprail above a tapering stick-back, scolled arms and saddle seat, the spreading turned legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, with typed label to the underside Windsor chair of a type produced by/Benjamin North at High Wycombe. Chairs of/this type were sold at Liberty's in London at the turn of the century. An example which belonged to Whistler, is in the Huntermain Art Gallery, Glasgow
