TOYOKUNI II (1777-1835): oban yoko-e, 25.3cm. x 37.8cm., Oyama yau, Tomomae Fudo chojo no zu "Night rain at Oyama, the view of the Tomomae Fudo Shrine and the peak" from the series Meisho Hakkei "Eight views of famous places", signed Toyokuni hitsu, sealed Utagawa and published by Iseya Rihei--very good impression, good colour, the title cartouche ground in light purple, centre fold mark, lightly backed, slight soiling and printing smudges, minor restorations
