A CAUCASIAN KINDJAL, the blade cut with a fuller on each side, the hilt and leather-covered scabbard almost entirely covered in nielloed silver, the former with horn grip-scales, and the latter with gilt finial; and another (grips missing), the blade gold-damascened on both sides with panels containing Arabic inscriptions and foliage, in original red velvet-covered wooden scabbard (velvet worn) with deep locket and chape each nielloed with foliage on the outside; and two Nepalese kukris each with chiselled steel hilt partly overlaid with silver, each in original leather-covered wooden scabbard decorated with white stitchwork and with silver chape, complete with skinning knives, all 19th Century
