A 5-BORE PIN-FIRE WILDFOWLING GUN with browned twist sighted barrel signed in full on the octagonal breech, border engraved case-hardened tang, action, under-lever with chequered finial, hammer, and signed back-action lock, figured walnut butt, chequered grip, chequered figured walnut fore-end (damaged) with horn cap, blued iron butt-plate (worn and lightly pitted) and trigger-guard, and some original finish: in original lined and fitted leather case with some accessories including three Belgian pin-pire cartridges, three patch-cutters, and a bag of H. Holland wads, by P. Ward, Henfield, Sussex, Birmingham proof marks, circa 1870
