A BOHEMIAN FLINTLOCK SPORTING RIFLE with octagonal sighted barrel slightly swamped at the muzzle and chiselled in low relief at the breech with grotesques, masks and foliage, the top flat chiselled with flowerheads and foliage picked out in brass, folding leaf back-sight, brass lock cast and chased in low relief with hunting scenes against a fishroe ground, walnut full stock (probably later) carved with foliage in low relief, cheek-piece, full brass mounts cast and chased with hunting scenes, huntsmen and classical figures, including side-plate, trigger-guard, patch-box cover and fore-end cap, faceted ramrod-pipes, and horn-tipped ramrod (barrel decoration later), unsigned, second quarter of the 18th Century
