At a blind tasting in September 1997: Medium deep violet color. Exotic ripe berry nose, almost cherry syrup, with accents of vegetation which add complexity and keep the wine from being cloying. On the palate sweet though tannic, viscous, complex, exotic, opulent, and long, not to mention sensationally delicious. A Dionysian experience. FH
