the brass full-plate movement with monometallic balance and ruby endstone with stop lever in the band, the white enamel dial with two outer second scales, subsidiary ten minute recorder, sweep centre seconds with ink container and printing needle operated by a button in the band, in plain brass drum case with presentation box containing a bottle of ink, dial and movement signed - 64mm. diam.

Antoine Redier born in Perpignan in 1817 died in 1897 was a pupil of Perrelet who himself worked with Breguet, Redier invented and patented a number of scientific instruments and clock and watch mechanisms during his lifetime.
