Caroline-Jeanne (1765-1786), first daughter of the Comte de Genlis and his famous wife, was married in 1778 to the richissime Flemish nobleman Charles-Guislain-Paul-Armand, Marquis de la Woestine (see previous lot). She was dame pour accompagner of the Duchesse d'Orléans, the wife of the future Philippe-Egalité.
