This watch is accompanied by a copy from the original Audemars Piguet record book, confirming the manufacture of this watch with a platinum case, dating 1924 and its date of sale to Gubelin 7th January 1925.

According to Audemars Piguet's research, the watch was recased by Gubelin in 1926 or 1927.
