Laura Antonelli is one of the most popular italian actress in recent years. Born in Pola, Yougoslavia, she was brought up in Italy and first appeared on screen in a well known show on Italian television.
A successful film career followed with her introduction "Mia moglie é un violoncello" by Pasquale Festa Campanile in 1971. She then played a wide repertoire, involving many of the great directors, with more than twenty films including: "L'Innocente" (1971) by Luchino Visconti, "Sans mobile apparent" (1971) by Philippe Labro, "Docteur Popaul" (1972) by Claude Chabrol, "I nuovi mostri" (1982) by Dino Risi and "Gli Indifferenti" (1987) by M. Bolognini based on a novel by the Italian writer Alberto Moravia.
