The movement of this watch is the smallest minute repeating movement in existence and was produced by Audemars Piguet in 1924 for Gubelin.
The case and bracelet, commissioned by Gubelin, were made by a Paris jeweller in 1924/25, since Gubelin's shop in Place Vendome was closed at that time and never reopened.
The case was than sent to Gubelin, in Switzerland, to be fitted with the movement by Audemars Piguet, the world's smallest minute repeating movement.
Finally this unique watch was sent to Austria in 1925, to the client who had commissioned it.
