Based on the picture of similar size, also on panel, by Luis Paret y Alcázar in the Museo Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid (exhibited Madrid, Palacio de Velázquez, Nov. 1988-Jan. 1989, and Barcelona, Palacio de Pedralbes, Feb.-April 1989, Carlos III y la Ilustración, II, p. 480, no. 100, illustrated in colour); in addition to the Museo Lázaro Galdiano picture, other autograph versions are also known.
