Ludwig-Friedrich-Günther-Andreas von Jagow, of Crüden, 1770-1825, Domherr zu Brandenburg and Oberstallmeister (1809), married Augusta von Heynitz in 1801. They had two daughters. As a Königlich Preussischer Generalmajor and Flügeladjutant he accompanied King Frederick-William III of Prussia (see lot 118) in 1813/1814 during the military campaigns and then to Paris, London and Vienna where the present miniature was painted.
