The reverse with a polychrome enamel hunting scene in the Egyptian style with lotus flower motifs, the circular dial with black Roman chapters and subsidiary seconds dial, circa 1925, movement signed European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., no. 34610 on movement and case

Signed by Cartier, interior with jeweller's mark for Edmond Jaeger

In 1907 Edmond Jaeger was contracted to work for Cartier for 15 years and was instrumental for the production of many of the fabulous enamel clocks and watches of this period. The inspiration for this watch came as a result of the discovery of Tutankamun's tomb in 1922.
