A rare and important four-piece Werkstätten Hagenauer silver and ivory dressing-table set, comprising a hand-mirror, comb, hair-brush and circular box with domed cover and ivory ball finial, each piece with finely chased, repoussé and martelé Art Deco decoration of figures, horses, terriers and borzois against a geometric background, each piece stamped WHW, Made in Austria, (ca. 1920-25).
