A wrought-iron and lacquer gueridon designed by Gilbert Poillerat, the circular green lacquered wooden table top resting on an openwork base formed by eight curved metal rods set with a gilded twisted band and joined by a hemispherical lobed ornament, the lower part of the base flaring out towards the bottom and set on four small stepped circular feet (minor chips to the lacquer, minor restoration to base).
