maker's mark SG, possibly Sebastian Garrard, London, 1905
On square plinth with rising circular foot, the base of the body cast with acanthus leaves below simulated lion skin and male and female masks cast in high relief, the reeded interlacing double-handles decorated with foliage terminating to the upper rim in trialing vines and grape leaves, with a band of ovoli above, the rim of the plinth inscribed "Norddeutscher Regatta Verein, presented by Alix Smith Cochrane Esq." - 27 cm high
