the other apparently unmarked


One with plain body and snake-shaped handle, the deep centre inset with a Portuguese coin dated 1812 and representing King Joao VI of Portugal and Bragance who flew to Bresil when the French troops invaded his country, the border engraved FRANCOIS RODIER ENE - 8.4 cm diam. (153 gr)
The other with handle shaped as two kissing snakes, the body chased with laurel leaves, the deep centre inset with a coin representing King Louis XIV of France and dated 1711, the border engraved
