Rectangular mottled agate box with bombé sides, mounted in a chased and pierced gold cagework, the cover depicting a riverside landscape with a bridge and ship, surrounded by scrolls and foliage, the front wall similarly decorated with a playful dog, the four edges with pilasters embellished with garlands of flowers, with scrolling thumbpiece -- 7.3 cm wide
