A lady, bust-length slightly to sinister, wearing a low-cut violet dress, her flaxen curled hair tied in plaits and falling to her forehead and onto her shoulders; landscape and sky background; rectangular with canted corners -- 4.6 cm high, gilt-metal mount; together with an officer of the Dragoons of Queen Marie-Antoinette, French School, 1776-1779, bust-length slightly to dexter, wearing a green uniform with pink lapels and silver aiguillettes over a yellow waistcoat with embroidered lace jabot and silver buttons, decorated with the badge of the Royal French Military Order of St-Louis, wearing a short curly powdered wig with black wig-bag; oval -- 4.6 cm high, minor cracking to sinister, gilt-metal mount (2)
