Designed as a series of seven cushion-shaped sapphires weighing 3.76, 4.91, 5.81, 7.68, 6.76, 4.71, and 3.81 carats, each in an old mine-cut diamond graduated cluster surround, with diamond collet backchain to the cluster clasp set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 5.45 carats, circa 1880, 35.0 cm.
Total weight of the eight sapphires : 42.89 carats
With eight certificates 25023 to 25030 dated 29/7/1992 from the SSEF stating that the sapphires are of Kashmir origin
