This painting appears to be the right hand page of a double composition. Although the scene has not been identified, it is almost certain that it comes from volumes II or III: they are known to have a greater number of lacunae, and it is very unlikely that volume I, dealing with the concentrated history of the Mughals would concern itself with a mere hunting scene.
