Rainer Rückert, op. cit., fig. 482 for a similar piece from this large service given by Augustus III to Elizabeth I of Russia in 1744, some 440 pieces of the service are listed in an inventory, dated 5 November 1745, of certain properties belonging to the Imperial household of St. Petersburg.
