A QAJAR ENGRAVED AND DAMASCENED STEEL EWER, the elongated drop-shaped body rising from a spreading foot to a rounded boss below the flaring neck, the domed cover with pointed tapering knop, the scrolling handle with recurved terminal, the body finely engraved with cusped medallions containing dense floral sprays within gold damascened surrounds and with silver inlaid floral spray central medallions, further gold damascening around the neck, around the mouth and at the base of the tall spout, 19th century (handle re-affixed)
