Note: The proof strike of the postmark in the Turkish Post Office Archives is dated 9 November 1916, and the proof strike is illustrated in "Osmanli Posta Damagalari" (1990), p. 133. Consequently, the postmark is used within only 13 days of its having been proofed in Turkey.
