The following comprises a remarkable plated study of these fascinating stamps, [ ] indicates the position of the stamp on the sheet and in the few cases of doubt an interrogative sign has been appended. As the plating is that of the late F.T.K. Caröe it can be guaranteed entirely accurate.
Ferslew printing (29 April 1851)
Stamps of the "Ferslew" printing are characterised by their greenish hue, distinct burelage; they are frequently toned in appearance and have concentric ring cancellation with dot in centre unless otherwise stated.
