A MEISSEN YELLOW-GROUND KAKIEMON BALUSTER HOT-MILK JUG AND COVER of quatrefoil section, with three quatrefoil panels painted with a flying phoenix, chrysanthemum and peony plants, the double scroll handle and spout with indianische Blumen and enriched with gilding, the cover similarly decorated with four panels and a gilt fluted finial (handle cracked and restored), blue crossed swords mark, circa 1735
