A LOUIS XV WARMING-STAND

On three scrolling feet resting on spherical wood supports, the circular body with three finely pierced panels, the gadrooned rim surmounted by three reeded and scrolling volutes, the plain circular warmer held in a central depression with piercing, the straight lateral wood handle fitted to the body with a partially reeded and gadrooned socket, with an additional circular support fitted with three open bracket-shaped rests, marked on body - 16.5cm. (6½in.) diam.
