A FRENCH SILVER BEAKER
maker's mark Jean Roysard, Rennes 1715-1716.

On gadrooned foot, the bell-shaped body separated horizontally by applied reeded rib, the lower part applied wtih strapwork on matted ground, the upper part engraved under the reeded lip with a coat-of-arms surmounted by Count's coronet and, on either side, with the interlaced initials ES-DP, marked on base - 10.3cm. (4in.) high
