Rectangular, the hinged covers pierced and chased with foliate scrolls and floral swags within a foliate scroll border on a matted ground, each with oval husk cartouche, one containing two fish, the other with two hands beneath ducal coronet each on a gilt ground, with two pierced hinged clasps, marked on one clasp - 18.3cm.
