TWO SWISS MUSICAL GOLD SEALS
possibly Geneva, circa 1820/1840
One with plain oval base, surmounted by two brackets, the winding stem with a spindle of stamped swirling reeding, the music released by a lever -- 40 mm high; the other with plain rectangular base, the winding-stem hidden by a vase standing on a base stamped with roses -- 38 mm high; together with a gold-mounted rock-crystal seal, of tapering form and flattened oval section, the top set with rubies, the plain base with detachable gold-mounted matrix in a faceted border, circa 1840 -- 90 mm high.
