unsigned, signed Universal and signed Hausmann Co. Roma, circa 1890 and 1900
the first, a Modernista Patent digital dial watch with nickel-finished jewelled movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, gilt cuvette, with fly-back sector shaped minute hand and aperture for hours and subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, in engine-turned gilt metal case with enamelled centre cartouche; the second, a keyless lever movement with digital calendar visible in a glazed aperture in the back, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel case; the third, a double dial keyless lever calendar watch, with Arabic chapters, the white enamel dial with concentric moonphase in gold and blued steel with subsidiary seconds and blued steel moon hands, the back dial in gilt and silver with concentric calendar for weekday, date and month, blued steel case, the first unsigned, the second and third signed on the dials- 49mm, 52mm and 53mm diams.
